dedicated to my GSE team

think-global-act-local

“Think global, act local.” The sign itself was so random, resembling the characteristic quality of Bangalore that I am slowly adjusting to. It was also strikingly fitting for me to stumble upon this motto, just as the non-profit community here seems to be an incredibly good match for a partnership with GSE.

some background:
When the GSE team was writing the business plan, we wanted to come up with a tagline for our written proposal. We decided to take the phrase “think global, act local” and build on it to fit our mission. We settled on “learning locally, acting globally.”

Since then, the vision of GSE has matured considerably (and we’re actually working on a new tagline now), but it was still a nice coincidence to stumble upon this.

Yes, of course! Laura actually asked us the very same question yesterday.

I’m sorry for not calling you back sooner! I’ve been going to sleep almost right away after work because I am still quite jet lagged :/ I’ll give you a call this evening.

I’m glad you like the picture 🙂 Coming across the sign really made me miss you guys a lot.

haha, this is awesome. I can’t help but say “this is awesome” to each of your posts!

Wow, someone 8,000 miles away also thought the same way, and the same tag line! You really were meant to go to Bangalore and take GSE such progressive steps ahead.

By the way, can you tell me about the latest version of GSE’s mission, and how it has matured over the last two months?
